A Motif around Dullo Plus Pillow

Hi, Backers!

My name is Yoon and I am the head designer in Cotton Shower Pillow. I would love to share a motif of developing Dullo Plus. I am not going to bore you to death, but rather give you a new perspective of a pillow, I hope.

My husband always and always sleeps hot. He sweats and sometime I can see his face go red like he was sun-burnt. (I love him for not grinding his teeth though... wink..wink...) He kicks off a duvet, blanket or any sort of covers. When it comes to pillow, it's worse. He tosses and turns or flips the pillow multiple times. One day, I simply asked him, "honey, what's going on?" His answer was astonishing. He replied, "I am just looking to find the cooler part of the pillow. That's why I toss & turn or flip the pillow." Aha! Ding-Dong! My light bulb went blinking!

I decided to make a custom COOLING pillow for him, but things got bigger than I ever thought it would be.

I tried many different fabrics for pillow covers such as yoga wears, cooling materials, synthetic fibers, Egyptian cotton, Supima cotton, or Premium cotton. Also, I tried to couple that with the right fillings such as cotton, microfibers (long & thick), microfibers (short & thin), plastic tubes that look like straws, fishing wires, dried herbs, wood pieces, funnels, seeds, and so on. It seemed like an endless such for a perfect combination. In the end, Dullo Plus has born after a long search. Hey! I think the search was worth it. I learned so much during the process. I learned that to build a cooling pillow, there has to be a few key elements: (It's a teaser)

Dear backers, friends!

All we can say is Wow....!

It's been a monumental first day since the launch, and (whilst it seems to have become a Kickstarter norm to say this) the absolute truth is that we truly have been blown away and are humbled by the incredible response and support from our backer community!

This launch marks an important moment in the history of Cotton Shower Pillow & Dullo Brand.

Perhaps the most important moment since we began... truly!

Many of you have been with us from the very beginning when we first pitched a little idea of a better way to keep pillows clean. We called it "Cotton Shower Pillow: Reinvented Pillow For The Best Sleep." After the unfortunate suspension of the project, we came back with a better solution- Dullo, the neck relief pillow for all sleep positions. Now, in early 2020, we are back with Dullo Plus- the coolest pillow ever.

It's been 2 years since that day and with your help, that little idea has grown into a global movement. We can't understate the gratitude we feel for those of you who joined us at the beginning, as much as for those of you who have joined us along the way. And for those of you who are joining our story now, welcome to our community - we are glad to have you on board. Let's improve our sleep!
